The Digital Rights Asia-Pacific Assembly 2025 (DRAPAC25) will take place on 26-27 August 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This is the third edition of the DRAPAC series, following successful assemblies in Chiang Mai (2023) and Taipei (2024).
DRAPAC25 aims to strengthen regional solidarity and foster innovation in advancing digital rights through multi-stakeholder collaboration, capacity-building, and transformative advocacy against digital authoritarianism across the Asia-Pacific region.
EngageMedia seeks an experienced web specialist to maintain and optimise the DRAPAC25 website. The ideal candidate will be technically skilled and share our commitment to digital rights and internet freedom.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in updating and publishing content using Bricks builder
- Ensure optimal website performance across devices
- Maintain design consistency with the event visual communications guide
- Troubleshoot and resolve layout and functionality issues promptly
Essential Requirements
- Highly proficient with WordPress and Bricks builder
- Solid understanding of responsive web design principles
- Appreciation of information architecture and user experience best practices
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Basic understanding of digital rights and internet freedom issues
Contract Details
- Fixed-term seasonal consultancy from June 1 until August 31, 2025
- Consultancy fee of 800 USD for the entire contract period
- Regular contact with the DRAPAC25 team via Signal and email
- Fully remote work with flexible hours
