From September 21-23, 2011 EngageMedia attended Reel Change: Managing Social Issue Film Campaigns in San Fransisco.
On July 20-21, 2011, EngageMedia participated in Video Vortex #7 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
A four-page article about the Plumi video sharing system has been published in the June edition of the Greek Linux Inside magazine.
EngageMedia and Unweb have just released Plumi 4.2.1 and upgraded the EngageMedia.org site. The release focuses on stability enhancements and bug fixes along with a couple of new features.
From May 10-13 EngageMedia conducted a video database development workshop with ASTEKI – a network of progressive TV stations based in Bogor, Indonesia.
On Friday 20th May, Unweb presented a Plumi workshop, “Create your own youtube with FLOSS”, at the 2011 Greek Free and Open Source conference, in Athens.
On the 11/12 of March, I attended the Video Vortex #6 event at the Trouw in Amsterdam.
