About the fight to save the Weld forest from woodchipping. The Weld pirate ship has protected this pristine valley for more than a year but recenly Forestry Tasmania have smashed their way through, building a 3 km road into this valley in preparation of their clearfell operations in early 07. This movie documents the beauty of the forests and the courage of those fighting to protect it. Chapter 2 "Come to Camp Weld" introduces the people and their blockade to protect this forest from woodchipping.

The Weld Archives 06 is a 50min documantary comprising 6 chapters. Chapter 1 -- footage of the Weld Valley from the air. Chapter 2 -- come to camp Weld introduces the people and their blockade to protect this forest from woodchipping. Chapter 3 -- Whatever you love you are depicts the beauty of this forest and life on the Weld Pirate Ship. Chapter 4 -- Since the Weld was flooded focuses on the destruction of Weld Pirate Ship by the loggers and the courageous battle put up by those trying to protect it. Chapter 5 -- This Beautiful Weld, is a short animation Chapter 6 -- is a slide show of the bugs of the Weld
